Data categories and duration of storage
When visiting this website, a connection is established with your browser. The following information is temporarily stored in system files and automatically collected: IP address of your device, date and time of access, name and URL of accessed files, website from which access is made or from which you were directed to our site (referrer URL), browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your device and the name of your provider.
We process the mentioned data for the purpose of smooth connection establishment and system security. The resulting connection data will be automatically erased and is not retained for more than seven days. If the website is misused, log files, which need to be retained for evidence purposes, are saved until the incident is clarified.
If you use the e-learning portal (https://el.datenschutzakademie.com) as a registered user, further data will be processed depending on the functions used. This includes data of your user profile, usage data of the e-learning portal, training results or certificates of participation and messages sent via the portal. This data will be erased at the latest upon termination of the contractual relationship, i.e. after deletion of your user account and after expiry of the relevant statutory retention periods.

The ‚MoodleID‘ cookie remains stored on your device if you select the ‚remember login name‘ option on the login page and is only necessary for this function.
You can prevent the installation of cookies by selecting the proper settings on your browser. Please note that if you do this, you will not be able to use all the functions of this website.
